Educational Trust
The Eaton Bank Educational Trust was established by representatives from the school community and the Trustees represent the Parents, Staff and Governing Body of the school.
The Eaton Bank Educational Trust is a registered charity and as such benefits from Tax Relief. When an individual makes a Gift Aid donation, the Trust is able to claim from the Inland Revenue an additional sum for each pound donated.
The Trust's objective is to advance the education of the students of Eaton Bank School by providing or assisting in the provision of educational resources and facilities over and above those which are available through Local Education Authority funding.
Examples of projects that the Trust has supported are:
- The installation of the dance floor in the Community Centre
- Provision of musical instruments, helping all students to have the opportunity to learn to play an instrument
- Funding a Resident Poet Day
- Purchase of a school mini-bus
- Provision of teaching aids for various departments
- Purchase of sewing machines for Art Textiles
- Sponsorship of the Holocaust Memorial Day
- Ceiling mounted projectors in many departments (including Psychology, English and Maths)
- Purchase of table tennis tables
If you would like to support the Trust there are two options available:
- You may complete a standing order form detailing an amount that you wish to contribute and the period over which you wish to make your contribution.
- You may forward a cheque or cash payment for a specific sum (cheques made payable to ‘The Eaton Bank Educational Trust').
In both cases, by completing a Gift Aid Declaration, the Trust can benefit from Tax Relief. If you would like to know more about the Trust or you wish to make a donation, please contact Helen Callwood, Trustee, at the school. You can download a standing order mandate and Gift Aid declaration from this page. Please return the form to Helen Callwood at the school.
